  1. Welcome back to Zenyte! It seems like you already have a love for the server so I think you should have no problem staying interested :D. If you have any questions or concerns don't hesitate to reach out to staff. Looking forward to seeing your content!

  2. Piggybacking off what @Sir Hassanmentioned; I think simply giving non-99 skills priority would be a good fix for that concern. I like the idea of the streak system, but I'd definitely like to hear other's opinions about what the rewards would be. It could be a two birds with 1 stone thing if the streak reward was items/financial gain.

    Hey guys!

Let me know what you think of the suggestions below, I would really like any feedback - I don't believe any of these updates would harm the game, however happy to hear what you guys think. 🙂

Harmony Island herb patch - I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this or not (although I never see anyone use this patch on my runs) but I notice probably 7 our of 10 times, this herb patch constantly dies? I am of course aware that some patches will due sometimes, but this is way too common. Could this be looked into, please?

Spinning Wheel - With the recently updated crafting/smithing area at home, could we please add a spinning wheel here? I do love the nostalgia of Lumbridge, but it gets awfully lonely here! (Plus the stairs are hella annoying on mobile -_-)

Fishing Guild front door - Seems to be broken most of the time? Not such an issue but I notice I need to open the door and then click the door again to go through? I usually use my fishing cape, but if I don't have this on me, I'd rather just be able to enter the door as normal.

Varrock Museum - This is probably the one I care about the most, I honestly would love the chance to get some lamps without having to wait for Bob to come and kidnapp me. As a level 3, I rely on lamps for slayer. Whilst I know I have completely chosen this way to play, these are available in OSRS.

Herbiboars - (I might have lied above, I also care about this update a lot too!)  I don't need to say much about this, realistically. Great source of herbs, pet is pretty adorable. Good update all round imo.

Salt Mines - Could a deposit box please be added to this area?

Voting - This is more of a website related suggestion, but I thought I'd add here, as I already have a list. Could we possibly look to change the site that you can only vote once every 24 hours? This is rather annoying and I hate feeling like I miss out on a vote once a day. Alternatively, could we potentially add more, as lessen the cash reward? Not sure.

I do feel like these updates would improve the game, however as for the bigger picture I can see things like TOB are more important for our player base as a whole. However as small side projects go, I'd love to see some of these added. 🙂

    Much love, Bear.

Hey! Thanks for taking the time with these suggestions.

Harmony Island - I've only just recently started using this herb patch, but I haven't really noticed it dying too much. I'm sure this is something one of the admin/managers/developers can touch on though to clarify that it should be the same as any other herb patch.

Spinning Wheel - There is actually a spinning wheel upstairs in the magic shop at home.

Fishing Guild - I tested this out and what I observed is if you click on the door and then click outside quickly you won't move at all. It would seem you have to click the door and just wait until your character moves in or out before clicking or else you'll interrupt the animation. I'll mention it to the other staff as it being a possible bug.

Voting - So, you can actually vote 3 times per day on each website. Each website can technically be voted on every 7 hours. From what I can tell, you simply have to be doing it from different internet sources. For example, I'd vote from my home Wi-Fi in the morning on all three websites. Then 7 hours later I can vote again either using my phone's cellular network as a hotspot, or voting directly from my phone while requesting desktop sites on the browser. And you just keep alternating.

The other topics I'm not very familiar with what they would entail or how they'd impact the server, so I'd rather leave that up to other staff to respond to.

  4. Welcome! As you mentioned, the developers have done an amazing job developing Zenyte. A lot of the tiny details is one thing that what makes this server feel so authentic. We strive to be very close to OSRS so the OSRS Wiki is always a great source for information. If you need any additional help just reach out to staff or in the help clan chat.

See you around on the PVM grind!

  5. Welcome man! I'm super glad to hear you're already enjoying server. From what you've said, Zenyte seems to be the perfect choice for you. Don't hesitate or reach out to any staff in-game with any questions or just ask away in the help clan chat.

    See you around!

  6. I definitely support this idea. As @Hexaementioned, I'd also like to see it taken even further, maybe even beyond just more teleports. I know there's a lot of people who could care less about construction and I definitely understand and agree with their point of view. With our custom home, there's not really much left on the table for construction to provide that's worth the investment; especially when there's other things to work on that are more of a priority. With that said, I definitely want it it to be added to Zenyte eventually. We're known for providing a very close, authentic OSRS experience. Construction is part of that and is essential for the server to be more complete, but I think some extra perks and tweaks will be necessary to make it worth implementing.

Thanks for your voicing your suggestion!

  7. Welcome! I'm very happy you're enjoying the server! I personally feel like our server supports have been killing it in the help chat lately so it's good to hear it's been noticed! There's a ton of great, helpful players on Zenyte that it sounds like you've already been interacting with.  You're obviously already very experienced, but if you have any questions don't hesitate to reach out! See you in-game.

P.S. I really need to start raiding >_>

  8. I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the server! I myself have been playing Runescape for a long time, but only recently found Zenyte. The combination of being very close to OSRS and offering xp rates appropriate for anyone's lives has made it so easy to get back into it with a great sense of fulfillment.

If you need any help in-game don't hesitate to message any of our staff members or just ask in the cc help chat. OSRS wiki is also your friend.

    See you in-game!

  10. Congrats! Keep up the grind! 200M will be quite the adventure.

As far as advice for herblore. I'm pretty impressed with your xp in herblore so far without any additional farming. 200M farming takes longer to grind, but it's soooo much more passive than the other skills. I got it without really trying. I'd recommend just buying herb seeds like irits, snapdragon, kwuarm, ranarr, etc. Any herb that has a secondary that's easy to obtain you should focus on. Ranarr and snapdragon are obviously more expensive but you could just sell the potions. You could also thieve master farmers for seeds to work on thieving at the same time. But yeah, if you just consistently farm herb seeds you'll get to 200M herblore.

    Best of luck!

The idea of perks is cool but I think you underestimate how much development time it would actually take to implement them, especially considering the developers already have their hands full.

Yeah that's true. I honestly just kind of got carried away with the idea as I was typing haha. But yeah, there's definitely more priorities right now and I wouldn't expect it anytime soon. I just think sometime in the future it would be a good thing it implement.

Another thing that just occurred to me is 200M perks would be a little detrimental to the lower xp rates. I mean I guess it's no different than how things are now, but if there's extra perks at 200M and there is a faster way to get there, we'd probably see less players on the lower rates. Whether that's good, bad, or neither I don't know lol.

  12. Even if the capes stayed the same; I've always thought that it would be cool to at least have some extra perks for 200M in a skill. For example 200M farming would grant you another 10% crop yield. I think for the majority of skills, adding completely new perks would require too much effort to come up with and implement. I think what would work well, is just an upgrade to current skillcape perks. I think in most cases that would be acceptable and very easy. Obviously some skills might need a completely new perk, but that wouldn't be too difficult and maybe we could do a poll for those?

A few more examples for 200M cape perks:

Attack: Hard to just upgrade, but I was thinking maybe a greatly increased chance of dragon defender drop.

Agility: An easy upgrade, where we would just increase the amount of times you could use the run energy recovery/stamina boost in a day. Or if that's not good enough then perhaps your energy depletion rate is greatly decreased.

Herblore: I don't think anyone has ever been hurting for money to have Zahur make unfinished potions. So I think an upgrade to that would be pointless. This one might be bordlerine OP but I think 200M xp is no easy grind, even on x25. So I was thinking, maybe all potions made would yield (4) dose potions instead of (3) by default.

Mining: Upgrade chance to receive extra ore to +10% and also include rune ore, which also stacks with varrock armor.

Cooking: Perhaps being able to cook your entire inventory at once? It sounds OP at first but the only OP advantage that would give is xp rates, which wouldn't matter at 200M.

So in the time it took me to make this post I realized it to be a little more difficult than I had thought, but I still think it's doable and worth the effort. More skills would need a completely new perk than I had thought. I think a list like this could be compiled within a day of someone working on it, and then finished within a week after receiving input from the other staff members or players.

I think the most important thing to remember is that the perks need to be incentives to keep doing that skill, at least for the most part. I think for skills where that's impossible then maybe something to just show off. For firemaking I can't think of any other perks that would be helpful lol. I don't know if it's even possible, but maybe an even cooler emote?

  13. Very nice! It seems you enjoy training skills one at a time. I'm the opposite; I have to constantly switch to keep from getting bored haha.

Also, I didn't see them in your bank pics. But you know you can buy recipe for disaster gloves at the chest in lumbridge basement!
