    Voting streak rewards would definitely be a big help. We talked about it a few times in the past but without the ability to make it an automatic system it seemed hopeless lol. If Grant is able to make it something that is detected and rewarded automatically then it would be wonderful. 

    I've also mentioned the need for some kind of automatic vote reminder in-game besides the yells that staff do. I've been told a vote "button" on the main part of the screen most likely wouldn't be possible and I understand how it might seem tacky. But if it were put on the game noticeboard screen I feel like it would never be seen lol. Perhaps an NPC at home with a caption constantly above its character stating something like "Vote for free GP and other rewards!" and then dialogue that would have a clickable link to the vote page. I think a lot of people just forget and maybe their goal isn't to vote as much as possible, but I think an in-game interaction like that would perhaps feel more natural to players.

    Welcome to Zenyte! I wish you luck on your journey. Bossing can be quite intimidating at first, but I promise you if you just dive in you will learn quite quickly that it's not so bad. I remember I used to always wish I had people to boss with, but eventually you become efficient enough on your own where you just want to do it alone and hoard your own drops :p. 

    If you need help with anything don't hesitate to reach out to the staff team. I highly recommend being active in our discord as its a wonderful place to communicate with other players and staff members if needed.

    Hello @sugary and welcome to Zenyte! It's definitely not too late to start. We are still very much active. We usually range anywhere from 25-80 players; it just depends on what time of the day it is. We have been lacking some updates lately, but we're literally in the process right now of completing an update we hope to release this week! Plus another update very soon after that (1-2 more weeks) that will bring forth an array of new content. 

    Zenyte is known for having a very authentic OSRS feeling. Most of our content is 1:1 with OSRS with a lot of attention to detail.

    I do like like the idea of gaining points for attending events. I think it would definitely help with attendance. We could just share a google sheets document among staff and add points throughout the month. A customized event point store would be fun, but I wouldn't want it to turn into another loyalty shop. Perhaps it could be something similar to the BH shop.  Maybe even throw some items in from the vote shop. Because if it was just cosmetics, once they're all obtained I think people would just stop attending. Veteran players would be much more inclined to keep attending if they're getting points to go towards like dragon arrows or such. 

    We could work on a list of items to add to this Even Points Store and then poll it.

    Community Poll - QoL and other content changes

     

    Hello Community Members,

    The Development Team has asked the Management Team to conduct a poll and obtain the response to some suggestions that have been made in-game, on the forums or in discord.


    1.)  Add Ring of Dueling and Game Necklace to the jewelry store

    2.)  Add an additional donator perk to allow the Ring of Wealth (I) to collect dropped clue scroll boxes

    3.)  Additional pets or pet mystery boxes as, but not limited to, cats, added to the store

    4.)  Add Expeditious Bracelets and Bracelets of Slaughter to the slayer shop

    5.)  There has been some discussions about the Inferno and Inferno services, would you like either of the following:
    A.  Allowing of Inferno Services after an individual has been approved by a Senior Staff Member (This will be at your own risk)
    B.) Adjust the Inferno Scroll to skip to the wave 58 instead of 32.
    C.) I would not like any adjustments made to the Inferno or Inferno Capes.

    6.) Add lower tier darts up to mithril to the Fae's Ranging Shop

    7.) Add a rare chance to obtain a mystery box when voting

    8.) Add a rare chance to obtain a Sherlock note as a reward from a clue casket

    9.) Add more items to the magic treasure chest at home? (Keep in mind UIM will have access to these items too) If so please discuss what items in the comments! 

    10.) Double the reward from voting

    11.) Do you feel the current mystery box rewards are decent? Or should they be buffed or nerfed?

The in-game help CC is also a great place for questions or as mentioned above you can always just PM a staff member. You can check for staff online in-game by typing ::staff

    I'm pretty sure I was the only admin in charge of a pest control event this month so I'd like to address that. There was unfortunately a mistake made on the community calendar. The pest control event in question was added to February 10th, however, it should have been February 11th per the official pest control schedule. I was unaware of the mistake and didn't notice until the 11th when I hosted that no discord notification appeared. When I looked into it I soon realized why.

    So I did host on the 11th like the thread shows, but the calendar was wrong and therefore the notification date/time on discord was incorrect. I'm sure it led to some very disappointed members and I sincerely apologize for the error.

    That is some good RNG! I still need a couple more Zenyte shards, but I haven't really been going out of my way to get them. I just do it when I get assigned black demons. I'm not an ironman but I really enjoy earning most things for myself if I can.

    Monster Hunter World has always intrigued me but I've yet to give it a try. I haven't really played anything lately since starting Zenyte, but just before I had played through Witcher 3 and FFXV. Witcher 3 was of course great. FFXV was my second playthrough. I was really underwhelmed when it was first released and I'm a huge FF fan. Since then they've added some things. I also didn't really give the combat system a chance the first time through. I just kind of warped striked my way to through the game. Between the new things they added, fully taking advantage of the combat system, and playing it on my new 65" 4K TV, it was a totally different experience for me and I honestly fell in love with it lol. 

    It's hard to find console games that keep me enthralled nowadays. Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War are also very good. I used to play a lot of Diablo 3, but grinding greater rifts just got boring eventually. I think that's pretty much it as of late. Oh, actually the most recent was Devil May Cry 5. I'm a big fan of that series as well and was very impressed with DMC5.

    Welcome and I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the server! Zenyte is perfect for fulfilling that need to play OSRS but with a little extra help so that you can enjoy the the more satisfying mechanics of gameplay :p.     Welcome! Man I can't imagine starting this game with no OSRS experience, but you seem to be getting along just fine! I'd definitely recommend completing as many of the achievement diaries as possible. I especially use the desert amulet 4 allll the time. If you have any questions just PM a staff member or ask in the help clan chat!

    These are some great ideas. I agree with @loltavenabout some being possibly too OP, but overall these sound great. At the very least, these kind of ideas are definitely in the right direction. Nothing too game-changing, but also not something someone is going to miss out utilizing if they can. Thanks for taking the time to put this together. We really appreciate the time and effort. 

    I think another thing we need to brainstorm is how to make the ornate pool just a tiny bit better than the restoration box at home. I've been having a difficult time trying to think of something that's not OP or just stupid lol. I was thinking maybe a short stamina boost like the potion or maybe overcharged prayer similar to the way Nardah alter overfills your HP. I'd love to hear some ideas from everyone.

    There's always going to be pros and cons to a rollback. In my opinion, the pros far outweigh the cons in this particular instance. Here's my reasoning:

    1. Many players did make the drastic decision to drop their banks, de-iron, etc. based on false information. I agree that maybe that was jumping the gun, but with the decreasing player count and issues with staff/development of late, I can understand why some truly thought we were shutting down. 

    2. The roll-back was roughly 13 hours. I'll say that again, 13 hours. Lets be honest, for 99% of us, that's nothing compared to the total time we've put into our accounts. I completely understand the people frustrated with their losses of xp (which can be fixed with screen shots from before rollback), maybe they got some good monster drops, and etc. But compared to the losses of the players that ruined their accounts who have spent hundreds, even thousands of hours in Zenyte, it's unfortunately just a small negative consequence we all have to deal with. 

    I've seen several players make some pretty condescending remarks about the ones that chose that path and it just pains me to see. We're all part of the same community, and a lot of the accounts that did what they did, have been around for a long time and care about the server. 

    I could see your argument if you had gotten 280M from something that was from your own hard work. But to simply pick up another player's lost wealth during a time like this is kind of the same as never really having it. And I know picking up and having that wealth sounds exciting, but for me at least, it would leave me feeling kind of empty not having the goals of obtaining that wealth myself. 

    Thank you so much for making this topic and letting us know how you feel. I'm very happy to hear how much faith you have in the server. I really hope this isn't a make it or break it situation for you. I'm going to be around for as long as Zenyte stays up and running.     Thank you so much for your feedback! Even though I would have loved to have known you better in-game, I totally respect your choice to keep a low profile. My first couple months were very similar and that's how I preferred it. Your positive feedback is greatly appreciated. It's always a good feeling to hear about everything we're doing right around here. The staff team works very hard to bring our players the best experience possible. Obviously there's always things we as a server can do better, and we're constantly trying to improve.
