Just 10 years ago everyone relied on chat rooms like MSN, AIM, Yahoo, etc. Skype was the ultimate "discord" of it's time. You must look at it as such.. Forums will never truly die but there will always be something "NEW" and "IMPROVED" in the future. Discord will not last forever and some other alternative will dominate one day.

    Discord is just a trend of our current era.

     

    I actually hope forums come back to being more popular, everyone is a bit more serious on a forum with less memes. Plus it's easily searchable for answers on specific things.

    I used to play loads of servers a few years ago and the forums were always getting multiple threads an hour, massive discussions going on. These days I feel like all forums on servers are slowly getting less activity over the years. Not to say that they're dead but a lot less active then in the past. 

    Do you guys think it's because of discords, younger generation aren't playing or people just care about playing the game more?

    Hi guys, I'm K 0. 21 Year old from the UK currently just finishing Uni and going into my masters. I'm Welsh also if any welsh people are on here give me a message, be nice to know if anyone actually plays rsps from there.

    I have been playing RS for around 10 years and RSPS for around 7, I have probably played almost every server from RevolutionX, Matrix, OSPVP and 2007scape. I've also been Mod/Admin on all of those old servers which are no longer with us. I was known as Top Man or Blms on them. Let me know if we have ever met before in other servers. Good to see old faces still around in the RSPS scene.

    At the moment I'm currently doing a 99 1 at a time on the server to keep me entertained. This is the first eco based server I have played in a while, so looking forward to progressing quick.

    Honestly this server feels like a good eco server adding this would remove that feeling.  It is similiar to rs with boosts which I feel like a lot of us like. Presets will allow for insane XP rates in skilling and overall reduce the OSRS likeness of the server.

    99 1 At A Time

    This is my first time playing Zenyte and I have always played RSPS for mainly Pking or becoming a staff member, this time I will focus around just playing the game and skilling away. I am going to remain a level 3 skiller for as long as possible completing all skills before combat one at a time. I will be posting my progress here with some tips and overall xp rates, loot and methods I used to get to 99. I hope you all enjoy watching me become maxed from 0.

    The Method once again simple

    1-10 Gnome Strong hold agility

    10-30 Draynor village Rooftop

    30-40 Varrock Rooftop Agility

    40-60 Canafis Rooftop - All of these levels were really quick probably around less than an hour spent getting it.

    60-80 Seers Village without teleport - Was getting around 700k/hr here

    80-90 Rellekka Rooftop - Was getting 900k/hr here

    90-99 - Ardougne rooftop - Was getting around 1.2m/hr here

    I done this skill very efficiently and go it done over two days it was boring and tedious but this is the reason I done it first. I just put on a film or 5 and keep clicking.

    The loot - I go full graceful at around 75-82 can't fully remember this.

    Mining

    The method here was simple

    • 1 - 30 Tin Ore in the mining guild
    • 30 - 95 - Motherload Mine. The XP rates here went from around 300k/hr at level 30 to 1.2m/hr at 95.
    • 95-99 Amethyst. I should have moved here at 92 but honestly was just afking too much in MM. The xp rate here was around 4m/hr semi efficient.

    Rounding up mining it only took around 10 hours of semi efficient playing to get 99 I honestly expected a lot longer than this. But after 92 you can get 99 in around 2-3 hours on x25. 

    The loot - Overall the loot was okay from 99 mining I am not selling any of it as I'll be possibly using it for future skills. I didn't even get enough gold nuggets for full prospector and I stayed at MM for an extra 3 levels.
