  1. Server suggestions

    Keep in mind these are only my own suggestions, if other players have their own views they can reply. (please be nice lol) 

     Daily tasks

    Daily tasks, players should receive 4 daily tasks each day and those 4 daily tasks will have tiers (easy,medium, hard & elite) the tasks difficulty should scale depending on the tier the player is doing (example: easy tasks being the easiest to complete not requiring high levels, whilst elite daily tasks will require high levels to complete) and because we have tiers it would be suitable for the reward to also be scaled depending on the tier meaning the higher tier the better reward for the player. 

    Not an important feature but it would be nice if there was an option to remove all combat related daily tasks, I'm saying this because i'm sure there will be a many level 3 skillers who would like to do daily task without needing to raise their combat levels, now that I've mentioned that I'd like to make it clear that skilling tasks should not be remove-able for people who just want to do melee tasks because the task system is meant to encourage people to get their skills up.  

    I'd like to also mention that there should be an interface to keep this all in place, the interface should list all four tasks which are different tiers that the player has to complete in order to receive their reward also under each listed task their should be a tracker which shows how close you are to completing (example: 18/20 lobsters cought) and on the side of each task it there should be a claim button. (if you want I can come up with an interface design for you to work off) 

    Rewards from completing these daily tasks could be easy, medium, hard & elite clue scrolls depending on which tier you've completed (if the player already has a clue scroll of that tier in their bank it should send a message saying "you can't claim your daily challenge reward as you already have a clue scroll in your bank" and once the player has either destroyed or completed their clue scrolls they can claim their daily task reward.  

    The player could also receive bonus experience (by a certain percentage) by claiming their daily task reward and the only thing that would vary from the tiers is the duration of time they have the bonus experience for (the bonus experience duration should stack with other existing bonus experience) Lastly if rewards are not claimed by the end of the day they will be destroyed as the player were too late to redeem it (same with tasks, if players don't complete in time) this will be done to make room for a new daily task and will prevent players from hoarding bonus experience.    

    I would recommend staying away from point / credit stores because if you have too many in the game it won't be nice.  

    Teleportation around Zenyte

    I think that Zenyte should have a unique teleportation system that is based off Runescape 3 instead of the cliche rsps teleportation system (teleporting by using spellbook to get everywhere or  a home-based teleporter) So basically my idea is to implement a feature where players need to go to cities at least once to unlock it forever meaning that they will have that location saved and once they have the location saved they will be able to teleport to the location via the minigames tab (which will be renamed to something more suitable) however they will only be able to use this a certain amount of times before it goes into a cool down state meaning that players won't be able to use that method of teleportation for a certain amount of time. 

    Places that would be unlock-able:

    • Lumbridge (this will be used if player can't use the home teleport because there is a cool down on how many times you can use the home teleport) 
    • Falador
    • Varrock
    • Al Kharid
    • Ardougne
    • Rimmington
    • Catherby 
    • Rellekka
    • Edgeville 
    • Morytania 

    Generic RSPS player: "How else am I supposed to get around?!?!" well Zenyte has or will have all methods of transportation runescape have which are:

    • Walking / running
    • Boats (which players can pay a small fee to ride to major places like karamja)
    • Canoes 
    • Gnome gliders
    • Magic carpet
    • Fairy rings
    • Spirit trees 
    • Teleportation spells
    • Jewelry teleportation (glory, skills necklace etc)
    • Achievement diary rewards (Ardougne cloak 2+ etc)      
    • dying (lol)

    This will be tough at first but i'm sure that people would get used to it, this would also make people consider how to use their teleports wisely and will encourage players to be more active in the game. 

    Hard ironman Mode & Duo Ironman

    Hard ironman mode is just as the name implies, although I don't know what the experience rates will be on release I can be certain that they won't be as low as x5 anyways hard ironman mode will be like regular ironman mode however the only difference will be the lower experience for people that like a challenge. 

    Duo ironman, a feature that has been desired for quite a while and this is basically similar to the well known 'ironman' however it would allow players to trade each other and share resources. Firstly players would login and choose the hard ironman mode however they will have 24 hours to find themselves a partner who also has 24 hours remaining and has no partner yet and once the time is up they won't be able to link their ironman with anyone. 

    some features this could offer would be: 

    • The ability to trade their partner and only their partner.
    • The ability to pickup items dropped by your partner (this means you will be able to share loot with your partner) 
    • A shared bank with their partner (this could be separate from their regular bank) and could be done using the mechanics from raids storage sharing with a few tweaks. 
    • Be able to enter your partners ingame home

    The duo ironman feature should only be available to hard ironman (this doesn't mean they have to be a hard ironman though) and should not be available to regular ironmen as it would make it too easy but because hard ironman has lower experience it would be fun to work with a partner. 

    However I believe this feature should be added in the far future, when the hype of being first to max is dead (this should re-enlighten the hype) 

    Trading posts / Player owned shops

    I don't know how much the buy / sell feature will be used in the grand exchange as there won't be as many players like runescape so instead I suggest adding trading posts which are posts in most banks and this basically this allows players to search for items they want and if anyone is selling them they can contact them via pm. (if you wanted you could possibly change it so that items can be bought through the actual post) the only real difference would be that people know what items are being sold.

    Safe staking & fair staking 

    Although staking is fun I believe many people quit from staking to prevent I believe a limit should be added where you can only stake 80% of your bank worth (so for example if the player had a 500m bank they would only be able to stake 50% of that which is 250m and then once they lost that they would only be able to stake 50% of that which is 125m) some people may disagree but to prevent people from quitting due to losing bank that could be an option. 

    Make it so that players who want to stake from the get go can do so if they have the GP, I think oldschool runescape also mentioned this a while back, what this basically means is when staking add an option which gives both members who enter the duel max combat and this allows them to fight each other fairly with the same combat stats however once the duel is over their stats would be reverted back.    

    In-game title ranks & forums awards

    I was thinking we could have two tiers of titles (Achievement titles & Unique titles) and by having these titles players might want to aim for all of them, I would suggest adding an npc which the player talks which then opens up an interface of all the titles the player has yet to unlock

    Achievement titles - obtainable by anyone 

    • Ironman / ironwoman [name] (obtained from becoming a ironman)
    • HCIM / HCIW [name] (obtained from becoming a hardcore ironman)
    • UIM / UIW [name] (obtained from becoming an ultimate ironman)
    • [name] of Zamorak (obtained after killing 100 K'ril Tsutsaroth)
    • [name] of Bandos (obtained after killing 100 General Graardor)
    • [name] of saradomin (obtained after killing 100 commander zilyan)
    • [name] of Armadyl (obtained after killing 100 Kree'ara)
    • Sir / Dame [name] (could be unlocked once the player has reached a certain bank value)
    • Lord / lady [name] (could be unlocked once the player has reached a certain bank value)
    • Count / countess [name] (could be unlocked once the player has reached a certain bank value)
    • Duke / duchess [name] (could be unlocked once the player has reached a certain bank value)
    • Prince / princess [name] (could be unlocked once the player has reached a certain bank value)
    • Maxed  [name] (obtained by having 99 in every skill including combat skills
    • Max Skiller [name] (obtained by having 99 in every skill

    Unique titles  - these titles are unique as not everyone can obtain them, and those who have it have to keep improving to keep a hold of them as they can be lost (although some can't be lost) it would also be nice if unique titles were awarded with forums awards. 

    •  ♚$$$ ♛$$ [name] (Only obtainable by 3 people which are richest player, ironman, hardcore ironman and these are given by owner) 
    • Almighty [name] (only obtainable by 1 person which is the #1 spot on regular hiscores 
    • Iron Giant [name] (only obtainable by 1 person which is the #1 spot on ironman hiscores 
    • Escape artist [name] (only obtainable by 1 person which is the #1 spot on hardcore ironman hiscores 
    • The ultimate [name] (only obtainable by 1 person which is the #1 spot on ultimate ironman hiscores
    • ♙Beta member [name] (given to people who took part in the beta)
    • ♙Alpha member [name] (given to people who took part in the alpha)
    • ⧗NoLife [name] (given to the player with the longest game time)
    • 200M [name] (given to the player with the first 200,000,000 skill and because there are 23 skills 23 people can obtain this title)
    • ∞ Veteran [name] given to players who have played for a very long time but don't have longest game time (previous servers don't count!)
    • Infernal [name] (obtained by completing inferno)
    • ??????? [name] (can only be obtained by 1 person method of obtaining this is a mystery)
    • ??????? [name] (can only be obtained by 1 person method of obtaining this is a mystery)
    • ??????? [name] (can only be obtained by 1 person method of obtaining this is a mystery)
    • ??????? [name] (can only be obtained by 1 person method of obtaining this is a mystery)
    • ??????? [name] (can only be obtained by 1 person method of obtaining this is a mystery)
    • ??????? [name] (can only be obtained by 1 person method of obtaining this is a mystery)

    not that these titles will give any buffs or perks they will be there for prestige 

    Community manager rank (Didn't notice we had a CM)  

    I think that it would be a cool idea to introduce a 'community manager' someone who will overlook the community and become their voice, this person will need to be someone who is trusted within the community and by staff members. My suggestion is when / if this gets added I recommend that you make don't give the community manager any benefits, it should be a player that doesn't have any mod / admin rank their main purpose will be to speak for the community. 

    Tasks that could be performed by the community manager would be: 

    • Hosting events (skilling competitions, Mini game events & PVP tournaments)
    • Helping players of the community if they need help with something that's in their power.
    • Speaking to the developers on behalf of the community.   

    As I mentioned in that list the community manager will need to be able to host events to get the community being active and this person should be picked by the community after the release of the game on forums on some poll. 

    Wilderness events  

    I believe that certain wilderness events should be added to the game, this should be future content as most people won't be interested in the wilderness as they will be grinding out their levels and bank worth. Okay so I have a few suggestions that just came into my head. (names can be changed of course.)

    • Wilderness Plunder 

    Whilst this event is active skilling activities within the wilderness should give x2 the ore however it should not give x2 the experience, as getting double the resources would be beneficial enough. (you could do this the other way around if you'd like by giving double the experience and x1 the resource.) this event will be activated by the community manager and it would I would recommend using this once everyday when the server is at peak amount of players. (if there isn't a peak don't use it.)   

    • Treacherous key

    A 'Treacherous key' would spawn anywhere in the wilderness and an announcement to the game would be made saying that "A 'treacherous key' has fallen in 55 wilderness" and then players would rush over to claim that key and once they got a hold of the 'treacherous key' another announcement will be made to the game saying that "Mtarik has obtained the treacherous key go slaughter him to obtain it." and now that everyone is after my soul I would need to escape from the wilderness but because I have the key in my inventory the only means of escape will be to run to the ditch to use the key on a chest that could be located in Edgeville, if I were to die and someone else looted the key they wouldn't be able to teleport either and another announcement would go out saying "{username} has obtained the treacherous key go slaughter him to obtain it" and it would be like hot potato until someone manages to escape with it. (like with wilderness plunder this should only be used when there are a great number of players) 

    The bounty from using the treacherous key on a chest in Edgeville could be that the player receives 12 hours of bonus experience (by a certain percentage), however I was thinking every time the key gets lost because a player dies whilst holding it should have some effect so maybe make it so that each time the key gets dropped the time reduces by 30 minutes or so. Overall I wouldn't want this event to be overpowered and give bank to the player who uses the key.

    Lastly, this relates to my community manager suggestion, I would like to suggest that the community manager has some method of running these events for the community maybe add a command that lets them run it (although I said they should be exactly like players having the same commands it would be best if they had a few unique commands for running these special events for example:            

    • 'RunTK' command which runs Treacherous key the event spawning the key in a random location far in wilderness and announcing that the event has been run.

    Regular events

    Although wilderness events will be more rewarding then regular events I believe that having regular events will be just as good because it would mean that skillers can potentially take part in them okay so here is my list of events that could be added.

    • Golden statue

    A golden statue appears randomly in the world (not in wilderness) which triggers an announcement letting everyone in the game know of it's location, the first 3 people to reach the golden statue and touch it will receive bonus experience (by a certain percentage) for 30 minutes to an hour (up to you to decide) once 3 people have touched the golden statue it will crumble and disappear announcing to the game that it is gone, however unlike wilderness events I suggest that these happen more frequently like a couple times a day.

    • Guarded crate

    A guarded crate will spawn in a random location of the map (not in wilderness) which triggers an announcement letting everyone in the game know of it's location, and basically the player has to get there by any means before other players and claim the spoils of the crate, however it's not that simple no no no they need to kill the guards who are protecting the crate, there should be 3 guards and they should be high enough to fend off any low levels who try to loot the crate (around paladin level)

    One last thing touching the crate to loot it activates the guards to all agro the paladin level guards, and if possible make the crate only lootable to player who killed a guard, this means that if you killed one guard (or did most damage to one of the guards) you will be rewarded with the 1/3 of the spoils and if you kill 2/3 you get better loot basically the more guards the less split and the loot shouldn't be overpowered since it's protected by paladin level guards, possible item suggestions: 

    • Low level equipment (e.g addy to rune, red to black dhide armour) 
    • Skilling resources  (e.g flax, watermelon seeds, logs, uncut gems, green to blue dhide)

    Toolbox

    An item only for ultimate ironmen who can't access the bank, this item will act like a toolbelt which stores tools however unlike the toolbelt on runescape 3 this will be a toolbox meaning it will be an item the player has to have in their inventory (sacrificing 1 inventory slot) this item could be destroyed however doing so would mean that the player has to gather all the tools again. 

    Once clicking the toolbox an interface could pop up were the players deposit and takeout their tools, here is an image so you can visualize it since this suggestion was based off what another server did.

    The only things that I would change would be to remove the farming equipment as it would make the tool leprechaun's tool holding feature redundant other than that it would be good. (however not sure if this is possible or not but instead of having all of the item tiers you could possibly make it so that it shows the lowest tier at first but it could be upgraded if the player has the next tier in their inventory and right clicks the axe in the interface and presses 'upgrade' which then change it to allow it to hold the next best tier. 

    Hovering over items (not sure if this is a runelite feature)

    Basically players would hover over items in their inventory tell them for about the item for example: 

    • Hovering over foods: shows you exactly how much it heals for
    • Hovering over items that can be worn: will ask you to press CTRL (whilst still hovering) to show items stats

    and here is an example of what I mean as a gif (taken from a project that has the same feature):

    Features that could make this feature better would be: 

    • Grand exchange, Low ach & High alch values whilst hovering over an item.
    • The ability to compare the stats of an item you are hovering over and the item you are wearing. (would need to make it so it compares to correct item slots)
    • Item description. 
    • The ability to use all of the features above whilst in bank  

    Player run events

    These will be events that will be triggered by players, this could be useful event to have implemented before the release of the game. Now you maybe asking yourself "what is player run events?" well it's just as the name implies it is events that are triggered by players and I was thinking that this could done in different ways. 

    • Well of goodwill 

    The most well-known player run event within the rsps community is of course the well of goodwill where players deposit a sum of coins into a well and once the well has reached a certain amount 1 of 2 things will happen: Scenario 1(The whole server is rewarded with bonus experience for 60 minutes) or scenario 2 (A single player is rewarded with bonus experience for 60 minutes and this would be because everyone has to deposit money in for themselves, in other words no leaching) 

    • Player activated bonus experience (milestones)

    I had this cool idea where the server could issue bonus experience to the players if the server met a certain milestone in player count which would reset every 1 to 2 weeks for example my idea would be that bonus experience would be given when the server hits certain milestones like 75, 150, 225, 300 players and each time this happens it would apply a bonus experience that would last 2 hours long.

    You maybe wondering, "what would happen if we hit 150 players whilst we have the previous bonus experience already activated?" well it could either stack the time onto the current bonus experience or apply it after the previous bonus experience time limit has expired. (like I previously stated this will reset every 1 or 2 weeks, what does this mean? well say the server hit 75 players then went down to 50 players then back to 75 players the server wouldn't receive another bonus exp reward because they have already claimed that weekly reward) 

    This idea of having an automatic reward system could be recycled and used for other purposes too, for example vote milestones each day and would encourage many players to vote to receive that bonus experience.

    Clan Hiscores and other clan incentives

    Clan Hiscores
    This will be like regular Hiscores however instead of player competing against player for supremacy for rank 1 it will be clans versus other clans for supremacy, my idea to stop any random player having their clan on hiscores would be to make it so that only clans that have 10 players will be put on the Hiscores and if that number drops any lower it will be removed until a new player is added (sure a player could technically make a clan and join it x9 more time on alts but what would the point in that be? there won't be any point in solo clan players competing because they would get absolutely obliterated by other clans. )

    The way I believe clan Hiscores should be ranked is by total level first and then experience, you could even rank it by total clan wealth (maybe you could add an option so players can choose what they want it to be ranked by e.g. (Total | Wealth | Experience)  So basically each clan members total level, total experience and total wealth will be added together in each section to give you the Clan Total level, Clan Total Experience & Clan total wealth (players who leave the clan will have their info deducted from the clans total since they are no longer a part of it)  Something Noele mentioned before, In discord, was rotating Hiscores so this could be a good way to check which clan has had the most productivity in a week, month or year

    Benefits of having clan Hiscores? Well it's another way to compete against your fellow rival, also could make people more serious about starting a clan in hopes of reaching the rank one spot which also means that clan owners will need to take up more responsibility keeping the clan active by hosting events per week so members don't drop out. Another thing that could come out of this is clan promotion (could have a clan spotlight for the 'clan of the year') which could be something as simple as sticky-ing their clan application post on the forum and maybe giving the players of said clan a custom forum award for best clan which will mean nothing but they'll get to brag about it.

    Forum awards
    Forum awards are a cool way to reward players without ruining the integrity of the game, These awards would be given to players only on the forum and it would appear under in the section shown in the image:

    you could have it look normal for players with no forum awards however when the player receives a forum award it could go under the 'Time Online' section and I was thinking you could possibly have the forum award images be the same size as the sapphires and layed in a table so they fit nicely, with each image being in 1 out 3 rows. If the player had more then three awards a new collumn would appear and the new award would be in the first row of that new column. (May be hard to understand what I mean but if you want more explenation I can whip something up)    

    I'll add more when I think of it (in my suggestions topic for the rewards I've always mentioned bonus experience as the potential reward but this is due to the fact that I don't know many other methods of rewarding players that wouldn't give a huge unfair advantage like (example: being rewarded with dragon claws) and I think that if most of the events give bonus experience the game will become too easy. (so you may need to change some of the rewards to something more suitable)

  2. Not that this is important but I thought eventually Zenyte might want a custom background for the client, plus it took me 10 minutes max to make (these assets were taken from the forums, hence why it didn't take so long to make.)

Hello people, I'm Mtarik, 17 years old and currently reside in the United Kingdom where I study business I'm currently in sixth form doing my final year then I'm off to university to enhance my knowledge on Business finance. I've been in the RSPS scene for a while, approximately joined since 2012 to 2014 and believe it or not I've never got maxed stats on any server. (this isn't due to fact I suck just that I lost interest in servers that didn't quench my thirst.
