    Huge gz dude 😀

That 99 herb will be useful for raids when it's released aswell.

Thank you 🙂 . Yeah I knew for an Ironman specifically that every skilling skill at 99 will only make PVM that much easier. That was part of my motivation for making my goal of skilling 99s before slayer.

  2. Wow! I finally made it! It has been a goal of mine to not start Slayer until I got 99 in every Skilling Skill and I was finally able to begin today after 16 days of playtime. Level 68 already and I am going strong. I only have Prayer, Slayer, and the melee combat stats to go till max and I am super excited! I will try and give updates of my drops etc. from here on as I will be focusing entirely on PVM now that I don’t have to do herb runs anymore (got 99 today!!). PM me in game or leave me a comment below letting me know what you think about the goal I achieved and my future goal of getting to Raids and clearing the collection log.

  3. Brought this up in help chat and discussed a little with staff but I want to make an official suggestion for this loveable pile of dank weirdness.

If hunting herbiboar could be added that would be awesome. The pet is dope, it provides an alternative to farming for herbs, and is a lot of fun (from my experience in OSRS on my ironman).

Yo, saw your name a few times in Help, after playing on here a couple days. Also a big fan of manga, anime, books (philosophy not as much)

Nice to see you finally introducing yourself 😉

Hope you continue to enjoy your time here mate, and good luck with maxing.

Thank you. Hope to be around for a long time. Just got 99 Herb like twenty minutes ago 🙂 .. slayer, pray, and melee stats left.

  5. I posted something similar in discord but hear me out on this bs I found on the server:

saw trade shop at home sells nail beast claws... thought to myself “Hell yah I can make Sanfew serums and get sweet pots and good herblore exp from my super restores (which I have 600 of)...

flash forward an hour and a half and 300 unicorn slaughters later and I decide to put on my best Hawaiian shirt, strap on a hat and head to the sunny shores of Karamja. What do I find when I get there????

YOU CANT FARM SNAKE WEED FOR SANFEW SERUMS!! Like what??? The shop at home sells one of the secondary ingredients, but you can’t go and collect the second???????????????????? What?....... Big mishap on the developer who put the nail beast claws in..... just saying.... low key pissed and wish I could take back an hour and a half of my life and the poor souls I killed. Thanks.

  6. Hey everybody, this is a super late introduction as I’ve been here for a few weeks. Missed this thread entirely so here I am!

Im an avid OSRS player, and I love the Zenyte community. I dig manga, anime, books, and philosophy so HMU in game for some chat while I’m farming or slaying... break me from the monotony of the help chat and answering questions. Hope to get to know you all throughout my time here and have a blast killing and stealing with you lot.

  7. Hear me out:

For Ironmen it is very hard to obtain certain herblore ingredients. Creature creation offers a way to train combat and obtain these rarer herblore items in a fun and quirky mini game.

Unicows should the focus, as unicorn horns are really hard to get.

As it stands the 5 unicorn spawns in the Kourend Woodland is the best source of obtaining unicorn horns, and is not very reasonable to grind for a ton of unicorn horns.

  8. Hear me out:

Infernal Eel fishing is extremely useful for everyone. It provides first and foremost Lava scale shards, which are used in herblore for Extended/Superextended antifires. And provides HCIM a way to obtain these besides the dangers of wildy lava dragons. If an oily rod could be added to home and use the new ice gloves in the vote shop 😉 to fish the infernal eel like osrs has it then that would be awesome. It would alleviate the herblore grind, helpout hcim, and provide an alternative place to fish.

Some pictures  or links to other gudies would most certainly help. E.g. Images of where to get supplies, how to get required items, etc. Otherwise nice guide. Thanks for sharing 🙂

Of course. I know there is an already established herblore guide showing how to do runs etc. I will drop a link for that in there. I wanted to focus on what that didn’t. Specifically which potions to make, where to get secondary items etc. that I had to figure out on my own.

Great guide Lestat. Good work, one thing I would recommend would be to add some pictures and formatting. 🙂

Yeah I plan on it later. Make it fancy and flesh it out. Lack of a real efficient guide to herblore prompted me to provide my research. Hope it sticks and people can get long use out of it 🙂

Decent guide, would like to see some images and it more formatted. Easier on the eyes. Either way, thanks for the contribution. =]

I feel you. Made this on mobile so I don’t have any formatting tools 😕 . Will maybe sit down on a computer later and edit it.

  12. Hello all! This will be a short guide to maxing herblore on any exp rate, while being Ironman friendly. Let’s make it sweet and concise:

    Requirements:

    90+ thieving

~3 hours pickpocketing Master farmer with full rogue equipped (on x25... multiply for your exp rate)

    87 magic

    90+ farming

    Ectophial

    magic Secateurs

    Recommended:

    Rune pouch

Morytania hard diary for double fungi

morytania Elite Diary for the extra herb patch

    99 Farming

    Ardougne Elite Diary

99 Agility + ~400 mog worth of amylase

    Full  graceful

500k+ GP for Zahur to make Unfinished potions (just saves a lot of time)

    Okay now to the beef:

    Efficient potions to make:

Super Restore : Snapdraggon + Red Spider’s eggs

—— get the red spiders eggs from Edgeville dungeon with a loot bag. Easy 1k+ an hour there.

—— Optional: Make into Sanfew potions for bonus exp.

Antifire Potion: Lantadyme + Dragon scale dust

—— collect blue dragon scales from taverley dungeon using the dungeon Tele at home > agility shortcut > glory/home Tele. Pray melee and bring an Antifire shield of some kind.

—— HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: Turn into extended or super Antifire with either lava shards or ground superior dragon bones. I recommend extended as you can get multiple shards per lava dragon scale/infernal eel. This will double exp per Lantadyme and get you decent potions for sale or for the future.

Superenergy to Stamina: Avantoe + Mort Myre fungi + Amylase

    —— MAIN EXP MAKER!

—— Collect mort Myre fungi from Canifis swamps with a silver sickle (b) you can buy at home. Cast bloom while in the middle of three logs. Get double fungi if Morytania hard diary is complete (almost a necessity). Bank at home. Easy 1k+ an hour.

—— Use amylase to make stamina pots. Close to 200 exp x (exp rate) per 3 dose potion made!

Super Attack Potion: Irit + Eye of newt

—— easiest potion to get the second ingredient for + decent 100x(exp rate) experience per potion.

—— but eye of newt packs in taverley (cheap and takes 15 seconds)

    Zamorak Brew: Torstol + Jangerberries

—— Farm Jangerberries with seeds from masterfarmer pickpockets while doing herb runs.

    Prayer Potion: Ranarr + Snapegrass

—— Not Great exp. However you will have plenty of seeds from master farmer pickpockets and they are useful for PVM/selling. Might as well farm them. Do last after the others.

—— Farm snapegrass with Waterbirth island teleport > collect > bank at home/with crafting cape/glory etc. repeat. Easy 1k an hour doing this method.

    The 6 Herb Run:

    —— easy for beginners

    —— No requirements for patches

—— no spellbook swapping/extra runes other than those for fertile soil spell! Don’t stress out!

    —— The route:

Farming Guild-  (home Tele or Farming cape)

    Ectophial - then run west

Ardougne patch - (Ardy cloak 4 or portal city teleport)

Hosidius Patch - Sand crab Tele under training. Run NE.

Draynor patch - Draynor city Tele. Run NW to farm. Near south fallador city wall.

Catherby patch  - Camelot Tele @ home. Run east.

    The 8 Herb run:

    —— Same as above + 2 extra

    —— need practically 99 magic

—— need morytania elite diary done/Fremmenik hard diary done

    —— The route:

    same as above plus +

Spellbook swap Arceeus > Tele to Trollheim > disease free patch

Spellbook swap Arceeus > harmony island teleport

—— extra herbs per run but higher initial requirements. (Full set of barrows for iron is no cake walk to get)

    Summary

Pickpocket Master farmer for seeds to plant for the potions stated above > do herb runs > collect the secondary ingredients in the meantime > make potions and get that 99!!

Hope you guys found the guide helpful and a decent foothold for getting started with Herblore in Zenyte. Especially for the Ironmen (like myself) who have to get all the ingredients themselves. If you have any questions PM me or leave a comment. Thanks 🙂

  13. Hello Everyone! This will be a simple guide for Ironmen and HCIronmen to start their Journeys in Zenyte

    —-The Beginning—-

First and Foremost you should have done the tutorial and PAID ATTENTION to learn the basics of the game, and more importantly where everything is at home as you will be relying on these a lot. You also will get 25k which is a nice chunk to start off with.

So you’ve landed in the middle of a strange looking Edgeville with a billion people standing around right? Well don’t worry! You are not alone! Everyone is confused where to start at first! This Guide is meant to help you find a starting point rather than try and shove you in the most “effective” or “efficient” way to play (if you wanted EHP you would be playing OSRS right?).

There are a few useful things to know before you start. One is that ::vote can be used in the chat to allow you to vote. If you have 2fa you receive more gold from voting which can get you a solid 225k to start! And get you some vote points which can be saved and used for useful items.

Furthermore, using / and typing and pressing enter will let you talk with the help clan chat where you can direct questions. Just know that this is very very close to OSRS in content and as such the OSRS wiki will be your best friend (just note not all NPCs, content, or items can be accessed from osrs so any specific questions can be directed to the chat.)

So you have a few options to begin that I categorize as: Skilling, Killing, and Stealing.

     Skilling

As an Ironman you undoubtedly know that all items you need and will use come only from yourself, vendors, and drops. As such, skilling is vastly more useful to Ironmen than regular players. Some key skills include: Cooking, Crafting, Fletching, Runecrafting, and Herblore. The general consensus being that Herblore is perhaps THE most coveted 99 and hardest to obtain in Zenyte, while also providing some of the most useful benefits: Potions!

If you go the skilling route I highly recommend getting into farming ASAP. Getting a decent level to start growing herbs and making your own potions. Later down the line Prayer potions, Brews, Restores etc. will become your lifeline and investing the time early on will help you greatly if you decide to do slayer, bossing, raids etc.

The other skills I mentioned help you get gear, items, etc. to help train other skills more effectively such as range and magic.

In short: a lot of people will tell you to go thieve or slay first: however, it is not a bad idea to get your skilling skills up so that the rest of the game can be played more smoothly.

    Killing

The next option for beginning is Killing. This is wayyy more simple and will have two methods depending on whether or not you are a HCIronman or regular Ironman.

The beginning will be the same for both. Buy a scimitar, a bow, and some runes from home and use the Zenyte portal to go to Ammonite crabs. Kill until they either de Agro or you run low on health, arrows etc. then run away and use a home tele (or you can buy Zenyte home tablets from the Rune Shop at home) and use the restore chest (large blue chest at home) to heal and repeat. At around 65 att/str/def with ~60 range and magic you can transition to the next step: Slayer

    Regular Ironmen:

From here your best bet is to do Wildy Slayer (talk to Krystilia at home for assignments). She will assign your random monsters in the wilderness to kill. After each task you get 50 points, and you have a chance to get mysterious emblems on kills which can be traded at the emblem reader at home for useful items. Just beware of Pkers! Use the wiki to find not so obvious spots to kill mobs to avoid dying to low level lowlifes who kill you for no reason. Also, only bring three items with you and decent food. It helps to use range or mage as you can safe spot most the time and save on food.

Keep doing this until you don’t want to or max slayer. Down the line you will have a clearer idea of what you want to do (bossing, getting max, filling out collection log or prepping for raids etc.) So just play, have fun, and enjoy getting pked for nothing every so often!

    Hard Core Ironmen:

HCIronmen should avoid the wildy like a plague as they don’t want to do and lose their status. Prepare yourself very well before doing any sort of dangerous activity as you can’t die even once! Your best option will be to do regular slayer from OSRS. You can find guides on the wiki as to which slayer master to use at your combat level, just use whichever is the highest and gives the most points. Accumulate points much like the regular Ironmen, just note you won’t have access to emblems, though at the same time you have no risk of being PKed. Continue to do slayer, leveling up combat etc. until you get bored, meet a goal, or move on to do bossing, skilling etc. or even hit 99 in slayer.

In summary You will make a ton of cash, get high combat, and have access to specific items from slayer only monsters that you wouldn’t have access to otherwise. If you like combat and killing the most take advantage of starting with slayer. You have nothing to regret!

Lastly we will be talking aboutttttt:

    Stealing

The most ignoble route yet perhaps the easiest and most useful early on, leveling thieving is the most recommended way for players to start in Zenyte. Begin by pickpocketing men and women (lvl 2) at home before using the Zenyte portal to teleport to Ardougne and pickpocket Guards, knights, and Heroes before lastly moving to elves. You want to pickpocket as the rogue set is obtained in a 1/200 chance per piece while pickpocketing and you get double loot per pickpocket while wearing the set. Do this until 99 thieving and enjoy making a ton of easy money to skill, kill etc. with! Never suffer financially again!

    In summary:

I gave three methods for Ironmen and HCIronmen to start and sustain themselves independently of other players. Eventually all three should be incorporated to make a well Rounded, high stat or maxed character with all the collection log filled (as much as possible) while being able to tackle any content. These beginnings are not meant to be an end all be all, just a few suggestions or nudges towards a direction to start for the budding Ironmen of Zenyte. If you have any feedback, questions, etc. let me know! And have fun!
