Quality of Life & Bug Fixes   Hello everyone, It's been just over a month since our last update, but we're happy to share with you where we are in regards to the much anticipated quality of life and bug fixing update.     Chambers of Xeric, the first raid that was introduced to OSRS on the 5th January 2017 saw a major quality of life change on the 29th November 2023. We've been working to update our server to reflect as many of these changes as we can, whilst also pushing further on some that we feel would benefit our players.     Below is a full list of everything that is changing within Chambers of Xeric on Zenyte.     You can now reload the raid directly from the staircase within the CoX lobby Everyone will be able to view every drop from the NPCs inside of CoX (irons included) Made most items stackable within the raid, such as Gourd Vials, Kindling, Grubs etc When picking Gourd Vials, they will now contain water When raking seeds, you will always get a set amount in a set order Removed the need for any tools within CoX All NPCs inside of CoX will now have the correct drops as they do on OSRS after recent update Guaranteed first Dragon Warhammer spec on Tekton to hit Reduced the Ice Demon's Magic defence from 60 to 40 Reduced Vespula's range strength to -8 Reduced Vasa's ranged defence to 40 Vasa's healing has been adjusted - he will only heal if he fully siphons from the crystal, rather than healing over time. Changed Both Muttadiles to only attempt to heal at the meat tree when reduced below 50% HP (instead of from 40%) Change Muttadile max hit to reflect the wiki for each size and type Big Muttadile will now only swap combat styles from range -> mage or mage -> range after it has hit at least 3 times in a row You now get points for hitting Muttadile while it is walking to eat from tree Ice demon points have been heavily increased to match OSRS Vanguards guarantee 1 overload drop, other two vanguards will have a 1/2 chance for more Fixed Ice Demon's attack range so the safe-spot works on the far side of the inside of the room Fixed all stats for miscellaneous NPCs within CoX Obstacles inside of the Scavenger rooms now give correct points and the mining/woodcutting will now always complete faster Ancient spells will now work on the fire wall by left clicking Added a pickaxe to the Guardian room Upgrading large > massive chest will now cost 2 planks instead of 4 Attacking crabs in CoX will allow you to attack faster than usual Added creation and effect of all antipoison tiers in CoX raid Added full scout to the chatbox Added the ::layout command to send the current layout to the clan chat Scaled party size now displays in the party panel Replenish Special attack when entering CoX instance Unnoted the rare rewards from rewards chest Players now can use the 'Large Raid' button from the board outside of CoX       Other miscellaneous patches and fixes are listed below:   Hunllef's defence has been reduced The Corrupted Gauntlet time has been increased by 30 seconds Wilderness Boss pets have been changed to resemble rate on OSRS Amount of Blood runes required to charge Scythe of Vitur has been reduced to match OSRS Wyrm Pet has been fixed to no longer be invisible and drop correctly from the slayer monster Scythe of Vitur has now been buffed from 110 -> 125 Slash bonus Spears and Halberds are now able to damage Corp for 100% of their damage Web Despawn timer on Verzik has been updated Dragon Chainbody has been fixed when using an ornament kit on it both ways Tools shop stock has had its amount increased Ironmen can now transfer Hunllefs boost scroll between themselves and others Fixed various Trivia answers       Thank you for reading and if you have any questions, please respond to this post and we will answer them as best we can.

The Events Team and Staff Team would like to invite you to participate in a Bingo Event that will run from the 8th of March until the 15th of March. The event is structured for you to participate as a solo player. Do you have what it takes to be the next tier champion?

Event Information and Team Rules: 

• Event Start - Thursday March 8th 00:00 GMT (Server Time)
• Event End - Wednesday March 22nd 23:59 GMT (Server Time)
• Event Duration - 2 Weeks
• Team Size - 1
   

Reward Information and Pay-out Information:

• Rewards will be calculated at the end of the event and paid post completion.
• First player to complete a tier will receive a reward based on difficulty: x1 Straight Line being $50, x1 Diagonal Line being $75 and full completion being $250.
• First player to complete the entire bingo card will receive a special bonus prize.
• Players choosing to trade rewards post event is not the responsibility of staff.
   

Logging Drops Information:

• All drops (broadcasts or non-broadcasts) must be captured via a screenshot and kept for submission within the dedicated 'Zenyte Bingo Event 2024' channel on Discord.
• Non broadcasted drops must include the Server Information tab with the current server time visible and the Red line of text stating the obtained drop (e.g., Dragon Pickaxe / 2H, DK rings etc).
   

Other Important Information:

• All server boosting items are permissible during the event.

• Only ONE account per player may enter the event (multi boxing is not permitted)
• Bought items from the Zenyte store will not count towards the event log.

So, we've decided to release an event that will run from now, until the release of our update in which you will be able to win a rare title, or something even better..     For every $10 you donate, you will gain x1 Raffle Ticket. Each ticket will be entered into the ballot once the event has concluded, and x3 winners will be selected for the following prizes. Prize #1 Custom Title of Winners Choice Prize #2 & 3 Player Name the Charitable   Terms & Conditions Each donation made by an individual user will be counted on it's own. Example; donating $10, $50, $20 in separate transactions would total x8 Raffle Tickets. However, donating $17, $23, $51 in separate transactions would total x7 Raffle Tickets. The winner of the Custom Title will be able to submit their title to the Senior Staff team for approval, once it's approved, you will be given a final chance to change your mind before it's submitted and it is locked to that title, forever. [Zenyte II - Revision & Client Update]

REVISION & CLIENT UPDATE   Hello everyone, It's been almost a month since our last community update, but we're happy to share with you where we are in regards to the much anticipated revision update.     We're happy to say that the large majority of the revision is complete, and we're actively testing everything by hand, piece by piece. This includes, but not limited to, skills, content and mapping. An example of what we're using for this testing can be seen here:     Each of our QA testers have been assigned a specific region or zone that they are responsible for checking thoroughly, before we have our senior team check again to ensure quality control has been met.  Once we have confirmed that all current content within the live version of the game works as intended, we will proceed with our future content updates as shown in our roadmap. More on our plans with when, how and what content is to follow soon.     All I can say is WOW. WOW. WOW. I've personally used the updated client, and it makes Zenyte feel like an entirely new game. We have the most up-to-date version of Runelite, including the Plugin Hub. Here are some screenshots of the client in action:     We will be releasing the updated client alongside the revision update, as without the revision update, Zenyte wouldn't correctly load.     We're aware that you would be hoping I wrote this with a date to when to expect the update, but as soon as we have a confirmed date, I will ensure that it is announced. [Q4 Roadmap Revealed]

 

Hello everyone,

Over the next couple of months, we will continue to develop Zenyte, based on player feedback and data we look at weekly. We understand that you would like to see regular content, mixed with quality of life updates, and a steady flow of events.

On top of this, we want to ensure that our revision update, coming in this next major update, hits the mark with all of our community. We understand the upset that has been caused due to the temporary loss of mobile, but rest assured, we are doing all we can with full force to ensure it is returned swiftly.

In the following months, I will be revealing content coming into the game, alongside behind-the-scenes images and videos on those specifics, so you know exactly where we are and what your donations are going towards.

Here's a look at some of the things you can expect in the next couple of months on Zenyte:



This is not everything in our plans, but I hope it gives you a good understanding of some of our focus points heading towards the end of the year.


What else can we look forward to?
Overall, our community has outlined that communication is key. I really want to ensure that the future of Zenyte is healthy, by working smarter. By focusing our development on what the community wants, but also with our development plans and availability, we can do more with monthly releases alongside major content drops.

We are already working on our revision update and pushing into preparing for our first major content piece. Runelite will be updated with our revision updating, so you'll have access to the Plugin Hub, allowing for a more customised experience, even before new content drops!

Given the scale of content missing from Zenyte, there is a significant amount of work needed to make this server what it should be. Whilst some of these changes might not be dropped immediately, we have a clear direction to follow now and will ensure it is delivered as effectively as possible.

What I've shared with you here is just the start of Zenyte II, and I hope it really excites you for what's to come - and feels like a first signal on how we'll be changing our communication moving forward.
