  1. Drop rates are fine.

That's coming from a guy who is 4x drop rate for a magic fang atm btw.

Other than that I feel like you suggested all this a million times already but yeah, gl again maybe this time they read it.

  2. Hey @CollectMyLog

Nice 2nd episode, I enjoyed it.

    A few suggestions:
Try to add a bit more variety of music (not the same tracks every episode)
Try to be a little bit more enthusiastic, no offense though.
You can also edit your original post and put the 2nd video link on there, so people don't have to scroll all the way to the bottom.

    Looking forward to episode 3!

  3. Whatever you suggested as rewards I will personally totally leave in the middle, some of them seem nice (like the blood arrows and new character skin colors) but others seem a bit too custom-y (for example the zuk/lava theme recolor and CA mutagen).
    But...
If they ever consider adding stuff like this, I would actually be motivated to grind combat achievement tasks, because as for now, the rewards seem not grind-worthy.

  4. Make sure to have a system so you can't farm new created accounts in the wildy for blood money.
Same goes for killing the same player/user over and over, first time you kill them you recieve blood money/whatever currency and then there's a x-amount of cooldown that starts until you are eligible to get blood money from that player/user again.

Any new currency added to a flooded economy is always good for the game especially when that shop holds unique items (like you mentioned)
I would maybe just scrap barrows from your list as there are plenty of barrows events every month and I think current state of barrows gear in the economy is good as it is?

The extra mobs to scatter around the wildy but with buffed drop rates I have always been 100% fan of, just make sure you add there should be a reworked pj timer/system because there's no point for pkers to check pvm hotspots if any pvmer can start boxing a mob for eternity (obviously not everyone knows this but I think it's easy abuseable)
I know you mentioned single+ system but I highly doubt this revision can handle that unless custom coded (which I don't know Cresinkel can>?)

Revenant cave revamp would be good. What Grant did was a step in the right direction but it's still not worth the risk/reward to go camp revs with a skull.
The current meta is to kill the rev dragon, knight and ork at the level 30 enclave, which is way too easy to escape since teleports don't have a 2s delay like osrs has nowadays.
For anyone who kills revs there and paying attention, you can always escape with a teleport because whoever enters that enclave gets clipped behind objects and therefore making barely able to cast teleport block spell.

Only thing I don't really like is the idea to add revs on other locations because that would make points of interest too scattered (ever since release on rs2, revs have always been inside that cave and I think we should work on keeping it like that)

Just a small fyi: dragon items from revs are not 100% x2 on osrs, it's occasional.

Other than that idk what else to comment, I'm always happy to see feedback on topics like this, it makes me realise Zenyte wilderness still has potential to be a solid money maker.

    Hi everyone,

My name is Lucifer2207, I'm 30 years old and I'm from Australia. I originally started playing Zenyte back in early 2020, but had to stop playing due to personal reasons. I started back up again just over a week ago and am absolutely loving being back! The community is still just as helpful as ever, the staff are awesome and the events are so good!

I hope I can be a valuable member of the community, if anyone ever needs anything, please let me know! I'm always happy to help out my fellow players.

    Cheers,

    Luci

    Magic fang from Zulrah.

    Welcome back

Due to the controversial nature of the PvP armor nerf/degrading situation I have elected to leave the subject be for the time being and won't be making any changes in those regards.

However, there will be an adjustment to their value when lost on death in the Wilderness. That is the new topic of discussion. What shall the price be?

Auto loss on death, turns to dust and killer gets cash.

What Iron Philip said is the gist of what my rebuttal was going to be.

They are some of the most expensive gear available other than a few select items (all of which are better like the Tbow and ancestral) and in OSRS wouldn't even be BIS, they should remain ingame unchanged. This problem will even sort itself out as zenyte gets more bosses from OSRS (ToB gives us the rapier, sang, justicar and scythe, nightmare gives inquis and the lampost) but even in the current state I disagree that pvp items are op.

Plus it gives people the carrot at the end of the wilderness stick.

    Justiciar < Statius

    Inquisitor < Vesta

twisted bow isn’t BIS you fool, it’s good against bosses with high magic damage, which narrows down to OLM HEAD PHASE, Zilyana and (for now still) Zulrah. Stop being so ignorant when you know all you’re typing is BS and you’re just upsetti spaghetti cuz ur bank’s at stake.

I’m rooting for Zenyte’s future, not for personal gain.

They are already the most expensive pieces of gear in the game, why tax or nerf them.
Outside of Morrigans Vanilla OSRS has an upgrade to every piece of PVP Gear.

    Morrigan's Vs Armadyl
Loses the Prayer bonus otherwise an upgrade

    Ancestral Robes Vs Zurial's
%Magic dmg on Robes makes it hands down better

Vesta Beats Bandos but loses the prayer bonus but is beat by inquisitors.

Statius is Beat by justiciar for tank gear due to its passive.

But in OSRS upgrades aren't a bad thing. Twisted Bow is BiS and rare. Should we make that degradable or nerf it because its the best thing for all content? No. Its rare and expensive.

The option should be pulled IMO if not to influence the decision but rather to see where the player base actually is. If 95% of players pick no change push on with what ever vision you want but at least acknowledge its against what players want.

Nobody uses zuriel’s cus it’s budget gear.

Vesta isn’t beat by inquisitor, also why use prayer bonus as an argument point when the obvious difference is the insane damage and accuracy bonuses Morrigan’s, Statius’s and Vesta’s pieces have??

Beyond ridicules, perhaps then, you should poll whether or not the Tbow should be nerfed or be degradable, b/c it is OP compared to everything else ingame (if pvp items are changed)

[If it wasn't apparent I don't actually want the Tbow nerfed I just want the community to have a say whether or not PvP items are nerfed or not b/c both choices we have are nerfs. This notion that PvP items needs be nerfed is something Ive only heard from a handful of community members so It is disheartening to see that the rest of the community basically doesn't have a choice in this matter.]

    A handful of community members?
Let me take you back to 2010 era of RuneScape.

There was a trade limit and Wilderness was partially nerfed to battle RWT.
Revenants got added to the Wilderness, in a cave just like now, with certain super rare drops (referring to PvP armour pieces/PvP weapons).
This type of gear was so strong it could ONLY be used inside of the Wilderness AND it degraded in combat (10k hits taken/10k hits given). They were only tradeable when they weren’t used before (so as long as they were at 100%, you could trade them). Now this era of RuneScape had Constitution (know as Hitpoints skill on OSRS). Constitution was capped at 990 (hits were also x10).
Because of PvP gear, max hits were significantly higher than prior to the release of it.

It was insanely strong gear, therefore it was meant to be a temporary type of armour and would degrade to dust.

you’re clueless, you’re upset that you’re going to lose ingame wealth just because you have some PvP gear on Zenyte.
It’s unbalanced, it has nothing to do with OSRS and it definitely shouldnt be an option to use outside of the Wilderness. Period.

If you have a counter argument that makes sense, feel free to reply.

I forgot to mention something regarding within number 10 as well,  "Examine" texts too please !! I would very love it if we could add a few examine texts that're currently missing, mostly just the new add-ons that have been implemented like the new pets, It might seem dumb for some.. But I love the little details like that!

Thanks for re-reading my comment again!

I totally can relate to this. Examining something without having anything to read is like sitting on a toilet without my phone, it friggin suxxxxxx.

    Hopefully they look into this.

  12. all I'm gonna say is that some of the current vet players have more zenyte gaming time (individually) than the entire dev team combined. maybe it wouldn't be a so bad to actually listen to them.

The tokens received would be pretty scarce. The idea isn't to shorten the grind, but provide an alternative grind instead. The amount you get vs the amount required would be taken into consideration in regards the effort required

Why provide alternative grinds for gear unlocks when right now:

everything up to dragon is super easy to get (as iron man too)

everything above dragon is locked behind content that’s unique to those items (barrows, pvp armour, …)

feel like you guys want to add “more and more” but are losing the grip on what Zenyte stands for…

with all respect, just a dedicated player sharing his opinion

  14. Are these proposed updates for Zenyte?

if yes: not a fan of anything.

skill of the week or w/e will always be won by the gamer with the most time on their hands

new vote shop is the only thing I slightly agree with

the upgrade tokens etc etc are trash and make this game too easy

the 2 rings sounds like something from world of warcraft

But yeah, please poll shit people suggest on a daily basis in the discord, all of this seems so freaking unnecessary and custom.

  15. I also realized that there's quite a few items on the revenant drop table that simply has really no value in-game simply because nobody has use for them and since we're also looking to add more raw cash into the game it could be done by giving the useless items a realistic automatic sell price to general store:

    - yew log 200-300 each (I'd prefer 250 since some but not that many come into the game outside revs)
    - magic log 500-1000 each (I'd prefer 600-750 since some come into the game outside revs)
    - coal 200-300 each (I'd prefer 200 since some of these do also come into the game outside revs)
    - law rune 200 each (I'd prefer 200)
    - black dragonhide 2000-3000 each (I'd prefer 2500 each since not that many come into the game outside revs as far as I know)
    - Manta ray 800-1200 each (I'd prefer 1000 since not that many come into the game outside revs as far as I know)
    - Battlestaff 5000-8000 each (I'd prefer 7000)
    - Onyx bolt tip 5000-8000 (I'd prefer 7000)
    - Dragonstone bolt tip 250-500 each (I'd prefer 300-400)

You suggest this because 70% of Zenyte players are iron man/self sufficient players or because you actually believe this would be a "fix" ?
This seems like a short term solution because, if these prices come through, this will bring more cash into the game than ever before. (think of all the current yew logs, dragonhides, ... in game)

Single + is something I'm craving for, would be dope to see it happen.
