Can you not add something in game similar to the calendar instead of the calendar on the website? I didn't even know there was a calendar at all... could add it as a clickable on the game noticeboard tab. I doubt the majority of players check regularly enough on the website to see all current and future events.
Also skilling events should be a thing if it isn't. For example a focused skill for an hour or a couple where people can group skill with increased xp in that certain skill or something within that skill.. This could be nature runes for example so runecrafting them yields more xp for a few hours. It then gives people variety. Or motherlode mine area is increased xp for certain amount of hours. The rich dont get richer, everyone does and they get levels and social side also a few examples. Happy to give more and expand on it
