    Vanguards,

The development team is aware of the whiteberries and their removal after harvest. I have also mentioned the fact of the limps however currently you get them 1 by 1 but you yield more then the standard 3 that you would on OSRS correct me if I am wrong? I am not 100% sure if this was done on purpose.

In OSRS the minimum is 3 with an additional 1 (potential) for every 10 farming levels making the max 12 at 90-99 Farming. All variants of compost help keep the limps alive while growing but none affect the harvest potential.

  2. I'd be up for seeing Misc added to Zenyte, but I'd have to say that it should stay limited for Ultimates just as it is in OSRS. Also, I don't necessarily see the need for being able to check your harvest from anywhere, especially since there would most likely be a teleport very nearby the place to actually collect the resources.

  3. It is certainly frustrating when voting sites go down, but TopG is one of the most widely known sites for advertising RSPS'. Getting rid of it wouldn't be in the best interest of Zenyte.

I think it'd be helpful for some of the other well-known websites to be implemented so that when one site isn't cooperating you're not losing out on 33% of your potential vote points.

  4. I'd be on board with adding combat dummies in an area like the melee store in Edgeville seeing as it makes sense for those to be there. However, I'd like to avoid having commands for every little thing like some other servers.

  5. Welcome to the server! Hopefully Zenyte will be a suitable replacement for OSRS and suck less of your free time away :P

As far as tips go I would suggest setting up 2FA as soon as possible on your account (this can be done by typing ::2fa in-game and pressing enter then following that guide). Not only does this improve the security of your account but it also increases the rewards you get from voting. As far as voting goes you're able to vote every 12 hours on the three different websites and doing so will reward you with a good bit of starter gp. You can type ::vote in-game to bring up the web page to do that.

Of course you're able to do anything you'd like on Zenyte but if you're looking for good ways to get started I'd suggest getting started with thieving, this will provide you with a good bit of starter gp as well, from there you can take your gp you've earned through voting or thieving to Edgeville (Zenyte's spawn area) and buy gear to do some Slayer with. Slayer is a fantastic money maker and gives you a great opportunity to level your combat stats as well.

Also, don't be afraid to ask any questions you may have in the 'Zenyte' clan chat. That's what it's for! Enjoy!

  6. Daily challenges seemed at first to me to be something that would offer a great deal of content. As you mentioned I also enjoy having to grind a bit in order to get the requirements to complete the task.

However, as you also stated the rewards are often not worth the grind and don't provide the motivation that I feel they were intended to give players. Games often have daily tasks and things like that to incentivize players to log in on a daily basis, I don't feel that incentive whatsoever with daily challenges in their current state.

Let me provide my first hand experience with daily challenges on a 5x account, I had level 1 Fishing and was tasked with catching 200 swordfish. Now, the grind from 1-50 Fishing on a 5x account is not particularly short, but that's not what my focus is at the moment so we'll ignore it. At the 5x exp rate you are given 500 experience per swordfish, meaning that for this task I got 100,000 experience off of doing the task. This task took me hours to accomplish.

    I was rewarded 16,000 experience.

That makes no sense whatsoever, all in all I ended up spending hours getting over 300,000 fishing experience to complete a daily challenge that rewarded me with 16,000 experience and nothing else.

I know that previously people have suggested adding items to the daily challenge rewards (in fact the 'Did You Know:' messages still state it's a possibility) but that was decided to be too overpowered. I think your suggestion of giving players credits/tokens to spend on skipping/blocking tasks would be the perfect solution to help better balance daily challenges.

In my opinion, it would also help a great deal to allow players to make their daily challenges more difficult by adding in a toggle that removes the ability to stack multiple daily challenges but rewards players for not missing days. This would actually do what daily challenges are meant to do and incentivize players to play on a daily basis. With a toggle being implemented for this feature then only the people that want that added challenge would have daily challenges become more difficult as opposed to all players having to deal with that change if they prefer being able to stack the challenges instead.

These task streak rewards could be as simple as more points/tokens to spend on cosmetics, or something as drastic as adding more exp for completing tasks as your streak increases (up to a reasonable limit, of course).

    yes and no

yes to Just to clarify, are you suggesting doubling the default harvesting speed

    and
no to or adding in the bug that allows for the doubled speed in the live game

im simply asking for the harvesting speed to doubled since at current harvest speed a full farm run with allotment/herb/flower patch it takes 20-25 min due to the amount of yield you are getting.

but thanks for the question i hope i awnsered what you asked for otherwise hit me up IGN Splasher / ZE

I suppose it makes sense, and I'd be on board with it being made a bit quicker as long as it is the default and not just adding in the finicky bug that exists in OSRS to speed up harvesting. You've changed my mind and it's a support from me.

  8. At the very least game filter and yell need to be separated. Nobody should have to see repetitive game messages if they're interested in yell, and nobody should have to deal with the people yelling if they want to read game messages. A command to disable yell would also be nice for the people who are not at all interested in reading yell chat. Support.
