Mac

Open the Finder app.
Go to the task bar and select "Go" then "Go to Folder".
Enter "~/library/Caches" in the search bar.
Locate the ".zenyte" folder. You will find the game files under the "cache" folder within it.

I - Common Issues

Spoiler

Java

Probably the most common problem people have, is not having Java installed.
Download the latest Java SE here.
Ensure you have the correct version of Java for your system.
When launching ensure you open with "Java(TM) Platform SE binary".
This can be done by right clicking the client file. (.Jar is the file extension name)

Black/White Screen

Ensure your client is up to date. Alternatively, this could be due to a corrupted cache.
Follow above to direct yourself to your cache folder to your respective OS (Operating system).
Delete your cache and re-download it.

There is a rare case to which players can be constantly crashing due to a bug within a specific zone.
Please submit a bug report here and inform a member of staff.

Unable to download the client

This is most probably due to your AV (Anti-Virus) blocking the client download.
This is due to it being downloaded from an unidentified source.
You will need to either disable your AV or make an exception for the download manually.
(There is no viruses within the client/installers)

Client stuck on 0%

This is also an effect of a corrupted game file cache.
Follow above to direct yourself to your cache folder to your respective OS (Operating system).
Delete your cache and re-download it.

Error connecting to server

There are a couple of reasons why you cannot connect to the server.
1. You are not connected to the internet.
2. You are using a restricted computer/network which does not allow outbound connections
(such as the workplace/school)
3. Your AV (Anti-Virus) is blocking the client from connecting to the internet.
You can temporarily disable this in the settings or add the client as an exception to run without being blocked.
4. Your firewall is blocking the client from connecting. You can disable this temporarily or add the client as an exception.
5. Zenyte is currently updating. You can find any information regarding updates here.
Restart your game client and apply the update.

Unable to log-in

Refer to "Error connecting to server" above first.
Ensure you are using your correct log-ins. (your forums account is tied to your in-game one!)
If your account has been banned. You can apply for an appeal here.
If you still cannot log-in, please inform a staff member.

Client scale broken

I don't even know if this occurs anymore, but there used to be a problem with some people clients regarding dpi-ware.
This post should clear up and guide you on fixing this.
If you require assistance with it, feel free to DM me.

NOTE THAT SOME ISSUES SUCH AS BLACKSCREENS, FREEZING, UNABLE TO UPDATE CAN ALL BE TO DO WITH YOUR CONNECTION TO THE INTERNET. PLEASE ENSURE YOUR CONNECTION IS STABLE AND UNRESTRICTED!

II - Windows

Spoiler

Windows launcher

Firstly, ensure you have the correct version of installer.
There is two versions, 32-bit and 64-bit.
You can see which you are running by opening your file explorer and right clicking "This PC" and going to properties.
Here it will display your "System type" ~

Whilst installing the game through the windows installer, you may have interference with your anti-virus.
To get by this, make an exception with your AV or disable it whilst you install the game.

III - Mac

Spoiler

JDK Missing

If you're using MAC OS X Lion or below, java will not be automatically installed on your system. You will have to download the latest version here.
Ensure that your installation file is a .pkg or .dmg.

Unidentified Developer

If you are using a Mac, that you have acquired through work or general education.. you may be connected to a domain which has filters on your machine.
This means that it doesn't allow certain downloadable content from the internet. You cannot do much in this case as its managed by your system administrator. If you have administrative rights of the system, you can go under "System preferences" > "Security & Privacy" > "Open Anyway" and you will be prompted with administration credentials.
