Hide 161 Posted February 29, 2020 (edited) Welcome to my Thieving guide! Let's start with items that will help you on your way to 99 Thieving. Rogue equipment is received by pickpocketing npcs around Zenyte. The chance of getting a piece is 1/200. Full Rogue outfit gives double loot. It's recommended to pickpocket Men & Women till you receive full Rogue outfit if you're going for the most profit possible. Ardougne diaries have some benefits for pickpocketing success rate, so it is recommended to get Ardougne cloak 2. Ardougne cloak 2 adds 10% success rate while training Thieving in Ardougne. Ardougne cloaks 3/4 add 10% success rate while training Thieving in Zenyte (Whole map). [You can check out diary guide made by @radi] Before you start training Thieving, disable your attack option on the npcs. Go to options and select hidden. You're going to start your Thieving training at Home by pickpocketing Men & Women till Level 20. Men & Women can be found at Home in the market areas. You can also continue pickpocketing Men & Women till you receive all Rogue pieces for more profit in the future. Experience from a successful action / Actions till level 20 [5x] 40 xp / 112 actions [10x] 80 xp / 56 actions [25x] 200 xp / 23 actions After getting 20 Thieving go to Zenyte portal and teleport to Ardougne. Here you're going to steal from Silk stalls till Level 40. Experience from a successful action / Actions till level 40 [5x] 120 xp / 273 actions [10x] 240 xp / 137 actions [25x] 600 xp / 55 actions When you reach level 40 you'll stay in Ardougne and start pickpocketing Guards in the center of the Market. Experience from a successful action / Actions till level 55 [5x] 234 xp / 554 actions [10x] 468 xp / 277 actions [25x] 1170 xp / 111 actions When you reach Level 55 you can start pickpocketing Knights of Ardougne. They are located in the same area as Guards. Experience from a successful action / Actions till level 70 [5x] 421.5 xp / 1349 actions [10x] 843 xp / 675 actions [25x] 2107.5 xp / 270 actions When you reach level 70, you can move on to Paladins. They are located west of Ardougne market. Experience from a successful action / Actions till level 85 [5x] 759 xp / 3322 actions [10x] 1518 xp / 1661 actions [25x] 3795 xp / 665 actions When you reach level 85 it's time to move onto Elves. They are located in Lletya. You can go there by Zenyte portal. Elves are located in the highlighted area. You can also easily bank all pickpocketed items east of the highlighted area. Experience from a successful action / Actions till level 99 [5x] 1765 xp / 5539 actions [10x] 3530 xp / 2770 actions [25x] 8825 xp / 1108 actions TzHaar-Hurs are more of a money making option while going for 99 Thieving. For this method you require a Fire cape and it is recommended to get a gem bag which can be bought from Vote store for 18 Vote points, Zenyte store for 100 credits or Prospector's Percy's Nugget shop which is located in Motherload Mine for 40 golden nuggets. After using the Zenyte portal to teleport to Fight Caves follow the map above and go to the spot marked 'Entrance'. If it's your first time entering inner part of TzHaar city you'll have to use your Fire cape on TzHaar-Ket next to the entrance.
