 Combat Achievements

Combat Achievements are here!
To get started in game talk to Ghommal located just outside the Warriors guild.
You can ask him for a Combat Achievements book, which you can read to view your progress on the tasks.
Below will be an explanation of the combat achievements as well as the rewards.

 

Tasks:

Tasks:
There is a total of 265 tasks spread over all the tiers. Most come straight out of osrs, some were tweaked and some are Zenyte only.

 

Tiers:
There are 6 tiers of combat achievements, these go from easy to grandmaster. Difficulty of these tasks rise with every tier, easy being very doable by every player, grandmaster most likely only for the PvM masters!

This will 100% be a grind of an update if you want to be among the best of the best, but your grind will be worth it.
When you complete a tier of tasks, a world broadcast is sent to the world for everyone to see and the rewards have some cool looking items for you to show off. Alongside those there are great passive perks and teleports unlockable through the rewards of the combat achievements. All rewards will be listed below.

Task types:
The tasks in the tiers consist of Kill count, Mechanical, Perfection, Restriction, Speed and Stamina tasks.

Kill count: this type of task requires you to have the given amount of kill count on the given boss. If you have the required kill count before the update was done, you can just check the book to be awarded the tasks automatically, you do not need to get another kill or do the whole kc again.

Mechanical: this type of task requires you to kill the given boss in a given way, interesting boss kills is a guarantee!

Perfection: this type of task requires you to kill x amount of the given boss without messing up any of the given mechanics.

Restriction: this type of task requires you to kill the given boss with restricted gear, levels, combat styles, etc..

Speed: this type of task requires you to have a personal best faster than the given time, to achieve tasks you already should've completed before the update you just need to kill the boss 1 time and the task will complete. Excluding Chambers of Xeric as there is Trio and Solo times.

Stamina: this type of task requires you to kill x amount of bosses in one instance without leaving or dying.

Adjustments:
For Zenyte I realised we do not have the same playerbase needed for some of the tasks, for example I left out the 5-scale CoX tasks as it would be annoying to find a capable, 5-man team to do the harder tasks.

Some other tasks also got left out or changed to fit Zenyte and Zenyte's playerbase. The majority of which are Speed tasks were dumbed down a little in refrence to osrs because of having a different meta than osrs. Mostly because of missing thralls and scythe or different boss mechanics like Grotesque Guardians having the mid-kill cutscenes that osrs has since removed.

Some tasks may still be changed or removed, depending on how you guys react on them.

Lastly, if you have any suggestions for more tasks, you can suggest them in #server-suggestions in discord. If you find any bugged tasks (either not completable or completed for you without you doing the necessary things you should've needed to do) make sure to report them in #report-a-bug in discord. This way the reports get to me as fast as possible.

 

Rewards:

Easy:

5% increased chance to get easy clue scrolls

Medium:

5% increased chance to get easy and medium clue scrolls
Antique lamp worth 10000 base xp

Hard:

Unlimited teleports to any GWD instance lobby
Like a boss slayer perk now has a max of 41 bosses instead of 39
5% increased chance to get easy, medium and hard clue scrolls
Ecumenical key drop rate is now increased from 1/60 to 1/55
Ability to create a dragon hunter crossbow (b) by combining it with kbd heads
Antique lamp worth 15000 base xp

Elite:
Ghommal Hilt 4:
Unlimited teleports to any GWD instance lobby
3 daily teleports to the Inferno
Like a boss slayer perk now has a max of 43 bosses instead of 41
5% increased chance to get easy, medium, hard and elite clue scrolls
Ecumenical key drop rate is now increased from 1/55 to 1/50
GWD instances now cost 125000 to make instead of 150000
Ability to create a dragon hunter crossbow (b) by combining it with kbd heads
Ability to create a dragon hunter crossbow (t) by combining it with vorkath head
Ghommal can make players a Tztok slayer helmet
Antique lamp worth 25000 base xp

Master:
Ghommal Hilt 5:
Unlimited teleports to any GWD instance lobby
5 daily teleports to the Inferno
Like a boss slayer perk now has a max of 46 bosses instead of 43
Jad and Zuk slayer tasks are increased to 2 kills per task
5% increased chance to get easy, medium, hard and elite clue scrolls
Ecumenical key drop rate is now increased from 1/50 to 1/45
GWD instances now cost 100000 to make instead of 125000
Ability to create a dragon hunter crossbow (b) by combining it with kbd heads
Ability to create a dragon hunter crossbow (t) by combining it with vorkath head
Ghommal can make players a Tztok and Vampyric slayer helmet
Antique lamp worth 35000 base xp

Grandmaster:
Ghommal Hilt 6:
Unlimited teleports to any GWD instance lobby
Unlimited teleports to the Inferno
Like a boss slayer perk now has a max of 50 bosses instead of 46
Jad and Zuk slayer tasks are increased to 3 kills per task
5% increased chance to get easy, medium, hard and elite clue scrolls
Ecumenical key drop rate is now increased from 1/45 to 1/40
GWD instances now cost 75000 to make instead of 100000
Ability to create a dragon hunter crossbow (b) by combining it with kbd heads
Ability to create a dragon hunter crossbow (t) by combining it with vorkath head
Ghommal can make players a Tztok, Vampyric and Tzkal slayer helmet
Antique lamp worth 50000 base xp

 

Pet Recolor Additions

I have added all tangleroot, rocky, heron, squirrel and dusted olmlet pets, below will be the ways of recoloring the pets. You can buy the dark acorn from Grace's store under the Burthorpe bar for 1000 marks of grace.

Other Changes:

• You now get pop-up notifications when you get a new collection log addition or when you complete a combat achievement.

• Can now cook raw curry

• Typo in grotesque guardians task from Ellen corrected

• Equipping and making the dhcb (t) and (b) now require elite and hard combat achievements (and the tasks under it) respectively

• Bloodfury:

  • Now starts at 10k charges instead of 7.5k

  • Loses charges correctly, no longer loses charges on reflecting damage nor on unsuccessful hits nor on incoming hits

  • When player heals using the amulet the target will now express a red gfx instead of the guthans gfx, so you can distinguish the two

• Alchemical hydra no longer has a damage cap per phase

• Fixed experience boost on prospector outfits, can now also use partial golden set partial normal set to still have the complete set bonus

• Fixed the bug where some weapons were missing defending animations meaning you would be stalled for a tick per time you got hit

• Fixed placeholder model for the Bloody Hat of the eye

• Fixed inferno teleport scroll, can now be bought correctly

• Corrected attack speed of Statius warhammer, this was one tick to slow

• Fixed an Imp spawn in Kourend Castle, was unreachable

• Fixed a Swamp toad spawn south of Castle wars, was unreachable

• Removed the delay from Runecrafting, like osrs did

• Put examines on all items and npc's from this and last update

• Vet'ion mort myre fungus drop buffed to reflect osrs rates

• Added agility lap counter system to all courses (not only rooftops)

• Ellen's bryophyta and obor tasks now do not require their respective keys

• Added pet dialogue to: zuk pet, dusted olmlet variants and all new pets that came with this update

• All pets in this update, as well as the dusted olmlet variants, can be stored in the Storage box at home.

 

SPECIAL THANKS to @Grant, for spending 2-3 hours sending over his code for the Pop up Notifications system, I could've never gotten it in Zenyte without his code and his help setting it up. I'm dearly sorry I forgot to mention this when we pushed the update, this was wrong and I wanted to take a moment now to correct myself. Thanks again.
